Our Team

Dr. Fleming is a graduate of Southern California College of Optometry, and has been in private practice for over 20 years. He specializes in treating refractive disorders of the eyes and is also certified to treat external eye diseases. Dr. Fleming fits all types of contact lenses. He also does lasik consultations as well as pre and post operative exams for one of the most respected lasik centers in San Diego.

Dr. Austin Tran earned his Doctor of Optometry degree with high honors (cum laude) from the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, California. Through his training and various externships, Dr. Austin has gained extensive experience in treating and managing ocular diseases, binocular vision disorders, complex contact lens fittings, and the co-management of pre- and post-operative surgical care.

Gabriella is a certified optician and has been serving the Lakeside community for over 20 years. Known for her fierce hair but kind personality,  you can count on her to equip you with whatever your eyecare needs are. As a long time Lakeside resident, her professionalism and strong customer service skills ensure that each patient has a fun and memorable experience during their visit.

Erika is a certified optician serving Lakeside for over 10 years. She takes pride in fitting patients find the newest and coolest frames. Erika enjoys trying out new restaurants in her free time. Don’t forget to ask Erika about her adorable dog Chewy!

Haylee joined the office in 2025 as an optician in training and ophthalmic tech. As someone new to the field of optometry, she brings a fresh perspective and a genuine passion for promoting eye health while ensuring every patient feels comfortable, heard, and well cared for. She is dedicated to continuously learning and growing in her role, while supporting the team in delivering high-quality, personalized care.

Madison joined the office in 2026 as an ophthalmic technician.  She is an aspiring nurse and is passionate in ensuring each of our patients are heard and taken care of. She is a pilates devotee and a matcha lover!
